MAO2 is a navigation program for use with an internal/external GPS receiver. The program does not come with map material, but allows map material upload from various sources including Google Earth. The program can also be used without map material; in this case the program displays your current position and travelled route relative to your starting point
Here are some key features of "MA02":

  • Displays current and highest-reached elevation as well as an elevation diagram.
  • Displays current and highest-reached speed as well as a speed diagram.
  • Displays UTM or Gauss-Krüger coordinates, geographic coordinates, distances.
  • Displays current map position on maps uploaded from Google Earth or elsewhere. Graphic images in .bmp, .jif, .jpg, and .png are supported.
  • Displays satellite information and signal strength
  • Displays covered routes
  • Logs your NMEA data
  • Save and display way points

  • Automatic and manual change of map scale
  • Import/export TOP50 ASCII overlays (TOP50 is a German mapping service)
