DatacompressionCE is a set of two ActiveX / COM component written in ATLCE for the PocketPC. It provides data compression in Windows CE from embedded Visual Basic and embedded Visual C++.
DatacompressionCE compresses and uncompresses an entire file given the input filename and output filename.
DatacompressionCE contains two ActiveX / COM components, each of them providing a different algorithm of compression. The ZlibCE component uses Zlib (http://www.gzip.org/zlib) and Libbz2CE component uses libbz2 (http://sources.redhat.com/bzip2/). These are widely spread, public and highly portable algorithms with a long proven efficiency.
eVB sample code is included both in trial and full version.
