zGPS 0.985 is gps software developed by TravellingKiwi Software.
zGPS is a GPS and map display application for the Zaurus, with GPS & Position status and waypoint display. It interfaces with most NMEA compatible GPS units using either a CF or serial interface. The Original Sirf based Pretec CF GPS is fully supported. Units that are based on the SiRF chipset may be swapped between NMEA and SiRF protocols, and have the speed of the serial interface altered. Vector map data created by the GPSMap Edit program is capable of being displayed as a moving map. WARNING! The new Pretec CF GPS-LP card is NOT a NMEA device. It uses a proprietary protocol that Trimble will not release, and thus is NOT supported
Requirements:
zGPS 0.985 supports english interface languages and works with Linux.
