VeriChat for Palm OS 2.89b is instant messenger software developed by Pocket Science.
VeriChat is an always-on, unified Instant Messaging (IM) application for PalmOS devices. On a smartphone, such as a Treo 600, VeriChatT works with your persistent (GPRS/CDMA 1xRTT) or CSD wireless data connection to give you an always-on presence on the Yahoo!, ICQ, MSN & AOL chat networks. Your buddies always see you as online and can send you messages, even when your device is in standby mode, and you can receive and reply to these messages.

On a non-phone PDA, such as a Tungsten C with its WiFi connection, you can use VeriChat whenever you have a network connection, or you can use it in always-on mode in conjunction with your mobile phone.

VeriChat is designed to work in the background; you do not have to be in VeriChat while chatting. You can be logged onto Yahoo, ICQ, MSN and AIM and can be chatting with your buddies on these networks simultaneously, while surfing the web, editing a word document or using any other application. You can send and receive files over IM. Create Buddymarks elsewhere in your system to quickly access your favourite buddies.

With VeriChat you can sync your old IM Sessions to your email, giving you a single place to look for your history of all written communication with your contacts. You can also archive your IM sessions to an external SD card.

VeriChat Premium Edition allows you to be signed on to multiple IM accounts of the same type, and allows you to access VeriChat Bots- a rich set of powerful information applications and utilities. With our patent pending Botmark technology, you can quickly create custom shortcuts that allow to instant access to powerful mobile tools.
