Wouldn't you like to make your handheld faster and easier to use? Entering appointments, address book entries, tasks and other information while simultaneously talking to people in a meeting or on the phone is difficult. Many handheld computer users still use a pencil and paper, or "sticky notes" to take notes, and then re-enter the information to the handheld computer later. The result is a clutter of papers, and no organization.
Slap solves your problem by giving you one place to enter notes. Later, when you are ready to organize them, Slap helps you put them in the right place. Slap can interpret and enter appointments, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, task lists and more.
For example, you could enter "Meeting with Bob on Thursday at 4." To turn this into an appointment, tap on the date book icon. Slap would then show you a screen that reads "Meeting with Bob." The date and time would automatically be set to the date of the next Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can then enter the appointment by tapping one button. At this point, the date book will appear with the given appointment highlighted, allowing you to quickly and easily make any further edits to the appointment. Returning to the Slap program is as easy as pressing one button.
Slap requires Palm OS 3.0 or higher and is compatible with many of the replacement applications available, like Memo PLUS, ToDo PLUS, Datebook5, and more. It supports expandable screens on the Sony, Handera, and AlphaSmart devices, and is Hi-res compatible for Sony, Acer and Palm OS 5 devices.
