But pointWORLD is not only an advanced world time system and knowledge database for Palm OS devices, it's also great edutainment for you and your kids! It offers nearly unlimited possibilities to test your knowledge about flags, capitals, areas and biggest cities of the world. Every quiz is generated out of hundreds of thousands possible questions.

Use pointWORLD as a reference application. Switch from every application on your Palm OS Organizer to a country oder a city in pointWORLD just by using the Global Find functionality (lens symbol).
Watch the date line
Time and date as well as all other country specific facts change by moving over the map with your stylo. It’s a nice feature for watching the date line.
Compare the countries of the world with your home country
You see also two pairs of bars for comparing surface and population with a second country as well as the rank list place of total area and total population of a country in the world-wide comparison.
The Quiz
Learning all countries of the world, their capitals, flags, total area and and biggest cities is a tough task, but pointWORLD makes it easy! Before you begin with the quiz, select the categories from which the questions will be chosen. You will be asked 10 multiple choice questions. If you answer all the questions correctly in the first try, you receive 10 more questions.
Evaluation
Question answered correctly in the first try: 100 points
Question answered correctly in the second try: 50 points
Question answered correctly in the third try: 20 points
Selected "don’t know" in the first try: 25 points
If you have answered one question, you can change into another area and continue the quiz later. In the new area the country to which the current question refers is automatically selected.

I had been looking for a user-friendly geography program, and I was so pleased to discover the pointWorld/USA bundle. I love the graphics and the world clocks. And I especially love the different ways you can access the state/country information - either by pointing at the map, scrolling through the list of names, or even using my Zire joystick to scroll through the entries.
