N-Caller is extending the phone caller ID to the next level by showing incoming call image in full screen.
The main page is showing the status of the application. The On status means that the application will show the contact’s image in full screen when there is an incoming call. For the contacts that you have not specified the image, the default picture is shown instead. Once the application is On, you cannot change the configuration. So, to set to Off, from the main page click “Options” and select “Set off”
Then, the configuration page is shown. Please note that when you click on the N-Caller application icon and if the status is already Off, this page is shown right away. This configuration page contains two tabs: Contacts tab and Groups tab. You can alternate these two tabs by pressing left and right arrows.
Contact Tab – this tab is for managing (add, edit, and delete) the N-Caller contacts. Please keep in mind that N-Caller contact list is entirely separated from the phone’s normal contact list. When you would like to add a contact, the application would ask you to select a contact from your phone contact list. Then, the application would copy that contact name and number into the N-Caller contact list so you can define an image to that particular contact. On the other hand, if you delete a contact from N-Caller contact list, that particular contact is deleted from the N-Caller, but not from the phone’s normal contact list.
Groups Tab – this tab is for managing (add, edit, and delete) the N-Caller groups. This tab has exactly the same features as the Contact tab does, but instead of managing a contact, this tab manages a group.
Options – both tabs share the same managing options which can be accessed by pressing the ?Options? button. The options are:
Item – to manage image that is assigned to the N-Caller contact. There are 3 sub items that you can choose: Open for editing the selected contact, Add New for adding a new contact to the N-Caller contact list, and Delete for deleting the selected contact.
Once you have opened an N-Caller contact, there are 2 available options:
1. Done – to save the current modification
2. Image – to set the image to the desired contact
Take new – to take a new picture and use it as the incoming image
Select – to select an image from the phone
Set On – to save the current configuration and set the application’s status to On. Moreover, when you are exiting from the application, you would be asked whether to set the application on or not.
About – this function shows the information about this application such as contact of the developer and the version of the application.
Requirements:
N Caller 1.11 supports english interface languages and works with Symbian.
