JavaPK is a clinical pharmacokinetic (or therapeutic drug monitoring, TDM) tool for mobile devices including PalmOS-based PDA and Java-supported cellular phones (SymbianOS). JavaPK is written in J2ME (JDK v5.0).
JavaPK is the FIRST clinical pharmacokinetic program in the world, which is designed and implemented for CELLULAR PHONES using both Sawchuk-Zaske method (aminoglycosides) and Bayesian estimation method (aminoglycosides - gentamicin, tobramycin & amikacin, vancomycin, digoxin, phenytoin, cyclosporin-A).
With Bayesian estimation, one can use any single-blood sample (at steady-state) to estimate individual pharmacokinetic parameters.
What's new in this release:

  • JavaPK for Mobiles has got a new name! Now it is called mobilePK.
  • Carbamazepine, lithium & theophylline (Chiou method & Bayesian) have been added; cyclosporin A algorithm has been fixed also; some algorithms ported from JavaPK for Desktop (incl. UDBM) have been modified;a must-be upgrade.

  • Symbian OS v6.0 or above devices.
    mobilePK for Symbian 5.0 supports different languages (including english). It works with Symbian/Java.
