Memosplit 1.0 is text tools software developed by Lars Lewejohann.
There is a somehow mysterious size limit of 4 kb for palm memos.
On the handheld device memos can be larger than 4 kb.
However, while synchronizing your pda with your computer, especially after having performed a hard reset, memos larger than 4 kb may be splitted or, even worse, truncated.
Memosplit generates a list of all memos larger than 4 kb and allows to split them into two smaller memos.
You can also combine two memos generating a single memo (that can be larger than 4 kb).
Additionally you can backup and restore the MemoDB database with Memosplit.
Requirements:
This text tools program is freeware, so you can download and use it absolutely free. Memosplit 1.0 supports english interface languages and works with PalmOS.
Downloading Memosplit 1.0 will take if you use fast ADSL connection.
