When you purchase a Platinum Place Guide Pack you are able to download Place Guides for anywhere in the United States for an entire year. THESE MUST BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PLATINUM or PLATINUM+GPS MAPS. They are overlays to the maps and provide business Points of Interest (POIs) such as hotels, restaurants, etc. Mapopolis makes finding where you want to go easy and fun.
It is the easiest to use and most feature-rich guide application available for your PalmOS device. Your Place Guide Pack includes the entire continental U.S.: hundreds of thousands of restaurant, gas station, bank, hotel and other location listings.
Place Guides must be used in conjunction with a Mapopolis Platinum or Platinum+GPS Map Pack to add turn-by-turn routing support. Search for locations by name or category, and restrict searches by city, if desired. You can even add your own locations using our Maplet technology.

Mapopolis supports PalmOS external storage and GPS devices. Guides inter-connect with Platinum & Platinum+GPS maps, adjacent guides seamlessly inter-connect. Store as many maps and guides as memory allows! Maps and guides are processed in RAM. If you have a Palm OS 5 device, see the corresponding Map Pack product. Mapopolis does not support the Zire 21 or Tungsten W with any product.
