If you bought a smartphone only to store a few tasks, notes, and Word documents, you're probably satisfied. But if your goal was to organize all your key ideas, project plans, journal entries, etc. - you may be disappointed.
If you really start to put in all your business and other data, you soon have hundreds, even thousands of items. Most applications just cannot handle this. That is why we developed Mandala Notebook - so you can start using your smartphone as, well, a smartphone.
Mandala Notebook is a new and powerful application to seamlessly organize and integrate as many text notes, drawings, tasks, and appointments as you want to create.
It has a clean, professionally designed user interface for browsing and editing, similar to Word outline mode and Windows Explorer, but adapted to small screens. Manage items like on a PC, using drag & drop, copy & paste, subfolder hierarchies, and shortcuts. This together with features like undo, history, and extensive user documentation make it easy-to-use, fast, and fun.
Sharing documents is a breeze. Export your notebook, or any part of it, to Word/RTF format and open in Word. To import structured text documents, such as web pages, PDF files, eBooks, just convert to Word/RTF, Excel/CSV, or plain text and you're done. Of course, tasks and appointments synchronize with Outlook.
Entering text with the stylus can be a bottleneck, so you'll appreciate Mandala Notebook's extensive support for external keyboards.
Or, using the jog dial alone, you can navigate the hierarchy, go back & forward in history, delete items, or mark tasks as completed.
Don't think you need so many items? Then we invite you to use the trial version as a free upgrade to the Task and Jotter applications. The trial has a limited number of items, but is unlimited in time; you are welcome to use it indefinitely, just delete items you don't need. But be warned: our customers report that Mandala Notebook quickly becomes your central system for organizing all your key data, and your most frequently used and valuable application.

The full version is available at regnow and Mandala IT website for $29.00. Mandala Notebook for UIQ 1.1 supports different languages (including english). It works with Symbian.
