When you hotsync your PalmOS handheld to the Palm Desktop, all your data, third party software, and databases are backed up to your computer from your handheld. Instant Backup and Restore backs up these files for you to ensure that you always have a fresh copy of your data ready to restore to the Palm Desktop in case of an emergency. Backing up your data is easy using Instant Backup and Restore. Simply choose the Palm user you want to backup and click the Backup button. Instant Backup and Restore will backup your users data. Each time you click the Backup button the previous backup file is moved to the Windows Recycle Bin and a fresh backup file is made. Restoring your data is just as easy. Simply choose the user you want to restore and hit the Restore Button. Even if you already have a backup utility for your PalmOS handheld, having a second backup file made in a different way and stored in a different location on your computer could be the difference between getting your valuable data back or losing it all.
