InMyPocket 1.0 is money management software developed by Richard Watters.
InMyPocket is a tool for students and teachers to help in learning to count money and introduce the student to the world of shopping.
The program features include:
A tutorial designed to introduce the user to the different denominations of money. Provides a complete graphical interface so the user can tap on a picture of a coin or dollar and a message box will describe that particular item.
A complete graphical interface where the student will input the quantity of each money type they have. It is as easy as tapping on the picture of the dollar or coin you have and watch the counter increase until you have tapped-in exactly how many you have.
A wallet overview to recap the quantity of each dollar and coin you have. The overview also allows the user to edit any number using Graffiti or a Keyboard.
A quick link to the Palm Calculator without leaving InMyPocket.
A virtual shopping cart where the user can input each item and price they want to buy. The user can then find the total (with tax) of the shopping cart and let you know if you have enough money in your wallet to afford the items.
A list of sales tax by state that can be integrated into the program for calculating sales tax of items in your shopping cart.
InMyPocket supports PalmOS5, high resolution (320x320) as well as low resolution (160x160) for PalmOS 3.1 or higher. As a minimum, you must have a grey-scale handheld.
InMyPocket requires that MathLib be installed on your handheld.
If you are a teacher or student with a monochrome handheld and are interested, please contact me for a monochrome version of this program.
