FreeNews is a service that combines a compact Java client (MIDP 1.0) with a powerful backend server that maintains up to date information on your phone.


A true "offline" reader - articles and summaries are stored on your phone.
Add any RSS or Atom feed - RSS 0.9, 0.91, 0.92, 1.0, or 2.0.
Add from our database of 50,000 RSS feeds.
Create custom keyword news feeds based on keywords from Yahoo! News.
Import/Export OPML
Entry of any RSS feed directly on your phone or via our web interface.

The FreeNews service is run as an annual subscription.

Note: FreeNews requires that the IBM WebSphere Micro Environment be installed.
FreeNews - News and Blog Reader 1.0.6 supports different languages (including english). It works with PalmOS.
