FontSmoother 2.06 is enhancements software developed by Alex Pruss software.
Do you wish that the default font on your PDA were smoother or more readable? Or maybe you would like fonts that are smaller but still very legible... or bigger? Perhaps using real italics would look cool? Or do you have a favorite Windows font you want to use on your PDA? Make your ebook reader, browser and other applications look better than ever!
Smoothed fonts (antialiased fonts) decrease font "jagginess". FontSmoother lets you use smooth fonts in almost all applications on your hi-res OS 5 PDA (not lo-res devices like Treo 600 or some Zires). FontSmoother includes over two dozen free smooth font packages and you can convert Windows TrueType fonts with the free EasyConvert utility available here or the included Quick Make Font utility. There is also a collection of free fonts here and you can download dozens more via a link in the readme.html file in the download.
News flash! You can now use different fonts in different applications without an external font manager!
Note 1: After the 8 days, font smoothing should remain in effect for free in the following applications: PalmBible+, BibleThumper, Bible Explorer with You, Bible with You, OliveTree Bible Reader, Concordance with You, myBible, BibleReadme, Universalis Liturgy of the Hours, and Virtual Rosary.
Note 2: FontSmoother does not support Chinese / Japanese / Korean display systems.
Quick start instructions:
(Tapwave users should read readme.html instead of these instructions.) To quickly install and try FontSmoother, hotsync FontSmoother.prc, yahm.prc and some fonts from the FontSmoother_fonts directory. Run yahm. Tap on the "A" at the top to set profile A. Tap on the box to the left of "FontSmoother" to activate. Tap on the "+" to the right of "FontSmoother" to configure FontSmoother. Choose a font from the drop-down box and exit yahm. You can, of course, have a lot more flexibility than just choosing a single font for all applications, but that's a start.Limitations:

This program is shareware, which means you can download and use FontSmoother 2.06 for free during 30-days trial period. After this period you gonna have to buy FontSmoother 2.06 software for $12.00 or uninstall the program. FontSmoother 2.06 supports different languages (including english). It works with PalmOS.
