The L3 Home Improvement Series brings professional material estimating tools to your Palm! The first product in the series, FloorCalc, contains four calculators that implement proven estimation algorithms for the most popular flooring types: carpet, resilient tiles, ceramic tiles, and hardwood.
The calculators determine area, even for irregular shapes and stairs. The ceramic tile calculator even supports separate border patterns. The quantity of materials needed is automatically adjusted for industry standard spoilage and wastage.
Whether you are a professional contractor or a home improvement do-it-yourselfer, FloorCalc will save you time, trouble, and money by providing more accurate materials estimates.
L3's Palm Hi-Res applications support AppSkins graphics, so you can customize the application's appearance to suit your preferences. Seven cool skins are provided. Select the skin of your choice from the menu on the main form.
This application contains font and graphics support for high-resolution Palm devices only, such as Sony Clie, Tungstens, some Zire devices, and others. (A "Hi-Res" Palm will have pixel resolutions of 320 by 320 or higher. Consult your device's user manual to find the resolution.)
A version of this application that will work with both standard and high resolution Palm devices, although with simpler graphics, can be found in the Palm OS section at this site.
Requirements:
This program is shareware, which means you can download and use FloorCalc for Palm Hi-Res 4.0 for free during 30-days trial period. After this period you gonna have to buy FloorCalc for Palm Hi-Res 4.0 software for $19.00 or uninstall the program. FloorCalc for Palm Hi-Res 4.0 supports english interface languages and works with PalmOS.
