Best Desk has a flexible panel system for creating panels. Each panel may have set of selected plugins. Some plugins allow to personalize displaying information (e.g. Birthday plugin has option "Period" - it shows birthdays for the selected period).

With help of Favourite plugin Best Desk optimizes most recent actions like: call parents, send sms/mms/email to a friend, open contact, start favourite application. Favourite plugin seriously reduces number of keystrokes and saves you time for more important things

As an essential application Best Desk can be integrated with native "Menu key cycle". It means that "Menu" key press will switch to Phone, Menu and Best Desk . Moreover Best Desk has an autostart option. You don't have to start Best Desk every time the system starts.

Operator plugin will show you info that you usually find on the idle screen of Phone application. It mean that you dont need to switch to Phone application to view current time, network status, battery level etc
