aPassword 4.1.5 is account managers software developed by ArtelPlus.
aPassword is specially designed to store and protect your private information (such as user names, passwords, credit cards, calling cards, bank accounts, PINs, IP addresses, etc.) in a safe and well-organized form.
With aPassword you can create a database on the Main memory of your Palm PDA or on the expansion card, or on both.
aPassword allows you to organize your records into a 'Tree' so that you can manage your private notes easily by moving them from one branch to another. You can create as many nested levels as you'd like and this makes aPassword very UNIQUE and ADVANTAGEOUS software. Record trees can be as simple or as complex as your data require it.
You will love the 'Quick view' feature of aPassword . You can set up a hardware button to view a record simply by pushing and holding down the button. The view record window is closed as soon as you release the button. This feature is very helpful if you want to keep your data from curious people.
If you really care about protecting your private notes, you can set a password to launch the program. This will restrict other persons from viewing your data without your permission. You can also use the encryption option to keep your personal notes encoded.
We also advise you to set the 'Exit on Power off' option in aPassword Settings. Utilizing this feature will ensure that all of your data is saved and the program exited just before the device enters sleep mode. (You can also set the idle timeout for aPassword Desktop so that program will exit at a specified timeout of inactivity)
aPassword Desktop for Windows
You can view and modify your private information on your desktop PC or notebook and synchronize it with aPassword for Palm on every HotSync operation.
With aPassword Desktop you can use Copy/Cut/Paste and share your personal data with other Windows applications such as Notepad, Word, e-mail and so on.
aPassword allows you to import and export data files in the csv format. This makes it easy for you to build an initial database as well as share, transfer and backup databases.
aPassword Desktop can be used with encrypted and password protected databases, but you can set these options (data encryption and password protection) with the aPassword for Palm only.
