XNetwork 1.3 is network software developed by Jean-Baptiste LE STANG.
XNetwork is a scripting addition for Mac OS X (Panther & Tiger) allowing you to :
- change the settings of your wireless card,
- discover new wireless networks (Managed or ad-hoc)
- join a wireless networks
- create a new ad-hoc network
- get info about the various networks around you: name, mac address, signal strength, signal noise, beacon interval, wep encryption is used, ad-hoc or managed network
- activate/deactivate an airport card
- shutting the power of the card up or down
XNetwork allows you to script Airport and wireless networks
This network software is freeware, which means you can download and use XNetwork 1.3 absolutely free. There's no need to buy the product. XNetwork 1.3 supports different languages (including english). It works with Mac OS X.
