XASH 1.3 is utilities software developed by Michael Bianco.
XASH stands for Xcode ActionScript Help, my goal is to be able to access Flash help files within Xcode.
XASH helps you view Flash help files without the Flash IDE.

However, right now XASH is implemented as a standalone application, hopefully in the future a Xcode plug-in version will also be availible. You can see XASH in action in the screen shot below (click to enlarge).

What's New:

  • Added CMD+F shortcut to bring the search field into focus
  • Much improved interface thanks to Juan Carlos Anorga
  • Added a plus button to add additional search paths in the preference panel (you can also add via Drag N' Drop)
  • Added a way to change the flash 8 search path and index file to work with non-english flash installations (this is only temporary, much better non-english flash support is in the works)
  • You can now reload help files without relaunching the program
  • Reorganized preference pane
  • Fixed some memory leaks
  • Updated Sparkle.framework to 1.1.
    This mac program is freeware, so you can download and use it absolutely free. XASH 1.3 supports english interface languages and works with Mac OS X.
