Video Gogh turns your pictures and videos into painted works of art!

Providing an easy and intuitive interface, Video Gogh employs the powerful technology used in "What Dreams May Come," 1998 Academy Award Winner for Best Visual Effects. How it works: Simply open a movie with Video Gogh, make a few choices and Gogh! Out comes a painted painted animation. Couldn't be simpler.

Video Gogh is an After Effects plugin designed to work in After Effects plugin compatible programs (See Compatiblity and Pricing page for exact compatiblity).

Here are some key features of "Video Gogh":

  • apply only where needed. Brushes are only generated in the portions of a layer that are visible.
  • application of different paint styles on different layers
  • variable size brushes
  • variable distance between brushes (the After Effects plug-in does not require full coverage by paint strokes)
  • variable opacity of the brushes
  • size, distance and opacity may be animated for a sequence
  • 3 different styles of painting.

    Limitations:
  • Demo version draws an "X" on each image if you have no registration key.

    What's New:
  • The significantly better tracking of Twixtor 4.5 has been incorporated into Video Gogh.
  • Added Intel support for Final Cut Pro. Read about limitations.
  • On the Macintosh, for all applications except Final Cut Pro you need to delete the previous Video Gogh plugin in your plugins folder, because the name of the plugin files have been changed
  • On the Macintosh users of After Effects 7.0 or later will see a significant improvement on G5 CPUs running Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger).

  • Adobe's After Effects 5.0 and later
  • Adobe Premiere Pro 1.0 or later.
  • Apple's Final Cut Pro 1.2.5 or later (Universal Binary)
  • Pinnacle Systems' Commotion 4.1 or later.
  • Discreet's combustion 2.1 or later
  • and other programs that offer After Effects plugin compatibility.
