Tone Mapping Plug-In 1.1b7 is graphics software developed by MultimediaPhoto.
The Tone Mapping Plug-In compresses the tonal range of High Dynamic Range images while maintaining local contrast. Details in both highlights and shadows are retrieved while making the HDR image ready for display on standard monitors and prints.

The plug-in can also be applied to 16-bit images resulting from RAW conversion.

To install just drag the Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS2/Plug-Ins/Filters Tone Mapping Plug-In 1.0 folder to Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS2/Plug-Ins/Filters.

What's New:

  • Made the settings "sticky".
  • Added setting Microcontrast Smoothing. This setting smoothes out local details enhancements, which has for effect of reducing noise in the sky for instance and tends to give a "cleaner" look to the tone mapped image.
  • Renamed setting "Smoothing" into "Light Smoothing", and changed the controls from pull-down menus to radio boxes. A value of "High" for "Light Smoothing is now the equivalent of +1.
  • Extended the range of setting "Light Smoothing": it can now take a value of +2 (equivalent of "Very High") as maximum instead of +1 (equivalent of "High").
  • Fixed bug that produced almost black output, or white corners with some images.
