The SMS widget for Yahoo! (aka Konfabulator) allows you to send text messages to mobile phones. You don't even need to have a phone at all! It's free to send messages to the USA and Canada, and cheap to send messages worldwide.

Here are some key features of "SMS Yahoo":

  • Built-in address book, so you can quickly select friends to contact.
  • Long messages are automatically split up into multiple pieces.
  • You can include your mobile number or email as the reply address of your messages. This lets recipients reply to your SMS messages.
