SmallImage 1.4.1 is graphics software developed by Fabien Conus.
SmallImage lets you remove metadatas from JPEG files, thus reducing the file size. It will also let you recompress the image with a chosen quality, or let you keep the original quality.

For example a JPEG image taken from a digital camera was reduced with SmallImage from 420 KB to 168 KBand a folder containing 6,3 MB of JPEG files was reduced to 1,5 MB, with an almost unnoticeable loss of quality or any resizing. SmallImage uses part of the ImageMagick package.

What's New:

  • A few interface improvements (infos drawer)
  • Documentation rewritten (in particular concerning the image quality)
  • Version string wasn't right (1.3.2 instead of 1.4).
    This mac program is freeware, so you can download and use it absolutely free. SmallImage 1.4.1 supports english interface languages and works with Mac OS X.
