Set iChat Status 1.0.2 is utilities software developed by TackyShirt.
Set iChat Status is a totally impractical app I wrote, because I had too many status messages saved in iChat, and the scrolling annoyed me.
It's dead simple. Pick a status, enter a message, (or not) and click okay, or hit enter.

That's it. It's not querying anything, it's not talking to any other application.
It's a .sitx file, so if your browser tries to download it as text, let it, save the file as text with a .sitx extension, and open it in Stuffit Expander, and Bob's Your Uncle.

    Requirements:
  • iChat 2.0 or greater. (iChat 1.X didn't have an applescript dictionary so this won't work with that version. Period.)
  • Works with current version of iChat in Mac OS X 10.4.7. It should work with earlier versions of the OS, but no guarantees.
    This mac program is freeware, so you can download and use it absolutely free. Set iChat Status 1.0.2 supports english interface languages and works with Mac OS X.
