RS-Manager is a Mac OS X application for controlling KNOX RS-Series routing switchers directly from your Mac via a serial port.

RS-Series switchers use RS232 protocol for control. If your computer does not have a built-in serial port then an adapter (such as Keyspan USB PDA adapter) is needed. When purchasing an adapter, make sure it supports RS232 (rather than RS422 protocol) and has drivers available for the version of the operating system you are using. See the user manul for more details.

Requirements:

  • KNOX RS-Series routing switcher
  • Serial port or serial port adapter
    RS-Manager 1.0 supports different languages (including english). It works with Mac OS X.
