Plasma Parameters 3.1 is calculate software developed by DavidPace.com.
Brings the usefulness of the NRL Plasma Formulary to your fingertips.

Simply provide basic parameters of your system and various length, frequency and velocity properties of the system are displayed.

What's New:

  • Added adiabatic (polytropic) index to input parameters and included default value display.
  • Added Ion Inertial Length to output parameters.
  • Added two Solar Wind default sets.
  • Pressing ?Enter? with cursor in input field performs calculation (previously either cleared all input fields or did nothing).
  • All output expressed in scientific notation (provides more easily read values regardless of magnitude).
  • Expression for beta changed (new expression shown on information side).
  • Output units changed to meters and Hertz where possible (makes output more friendly to non-fusion plasma systems).
  • Improved code for web ready demonstration (exact widget code placed on web, not all browsers compatible).
  • Acknowledgments section updated to reflect new outside contributions.
This calculate software is freeware, which means you can download and use Plasma Parameters 3.1 absolutely free. There's no need to buy the product. Plasma Parameters 3.1 supports different languages (including english). It works with Mac OS X.

Downloading Plasma Parameters 3.1 will take if you use fast ADSL connection.
