Piles'O'Tiles is a fun and addictive mahjongg game, suitable for all ages. The game has many new additions to the traditional mahjongg game, including different board layouts, customizable tilesets, and competitive scoring between players. The game has tileset support for the visually impaired. With these new game additions, there are now more elements of play involved to completing a round.

The game has support for multiple tilesets. The ones featured in the image above are the default tileset which comes with the game. The support of tilesets provides you with an infinite supply of playing sets. The only limit is your imagination! To see some of the additional tilesets we have to offer, please visit the Screenshots for Pocket PC section. Tileset support is also present in the PC version of the game.

The game was originaly developed for the Amiga range of computers by my long time friend and mentor, Paul Burkey, back in 1996. The game was extremely popular, and was constantly being distributed on the coverdisks of countless Amiga magazines. An opportunity was given to provide the game to the Pocket PC community, and so I took the task of porting the game to this, as well as desktop formats. A Macintosh version will eventually be released, however I do not have an estimated date yet.

Limitations:

  • The trial version of Piles'O'Tiles has many restrictions. Purchasing the game will unlock all of the game restrictions, providing you with unlimited gameplay.
