A slick little utility that allows you to access any Apple application, by simply typing its name (no spaces) in the search field. Soon, this widget will include auto-completion of typing, as well as support for opening third-party applications and customizing where it looks for applications.
This dashboard widgets program is freeware, so you can download and use it absolutely free. Opener 1.0 supports different languages (including english). It works with Mac OS X.
