Open Script 1.1 is utilities software developed by Barry Wainwright.
Open Script will take a selection of a message in Entourage and move it to a Script Editor window and will attempt to compile it as applescript. This is intended for use where you receive scripts by email (typically from mailing lists etc.) and want to try them out or modify them.

Normally you would have to select the script, choose 'Copy', Open the script editor, make a new window, chose 'Paste' & then compile. This script automates that process, making it possible to just select the text and run this script.

Requirements:

  • Entourage.
    This mac program is freeware, so you can download and use it absolutely free. Open Script 1.1 supports english interface languages and works with Mac OS X.
