On Guard is desktop security for Macintoshcomputers. It adds protection to the MacintoshFinder and other software to prevent users frommoving, trashing, or renaming files; usingcontrol panels or the Chooser; or accessing filesin certain folders.

Its protection involvesrequiring users to enter a name and passwordbefore they can perform any actions that couldchange data on the computer.

The free trialsoftware works on an unlimited number ofcomputers for 30 days after installation. At theend of the 30-day period, On Guard will beautomatically disabled.
On Guard 3.4 supports english interface languages and works with Mac OS X.
