MarkIt 2.0.3 is dtp prepress software developed by ALAP.
You do everything else to get your job ready for printing, why not place the press marks too? MarkIt enables you to create custom registration styles that can be used in place of QuarkXPress's default press-marks. With MarkIt, you can make your pages completely press-ready. Position press-marks such as trim lines, registration targets, and color/grayscale bars by simply dragging them into a proxy of the active document.

You can even customize MarkIt by adding items to it. These items can be a logo, a new registration mark or even a color or grayscale bar created in any graphics program and saved as EPS files.
MarkIt also gives you the ability to control the placement of the document info tag with the click of a button.

What's New:

  • Printing with page alignment (ie. Center) did not work. Fixed. Improved the handling of text marks, especially when used in conjunction with Imposer. Fixed.

    Requirements:
  • Mac OS 9.1 - 9.2x or Mac OS X (10.3 or later)
  • QuarkXPress 4.1 or later (including 6.x).
    This is a demo version of the program. In order to use full version features, please go online and order a full version of MarkIt 2.0.3. The full version is available at regnow and ALAP website for $99.00. MarkIt 2.0.3 supports english interface languages and works with Mac OS X.
