MailWidget 1.5 is e-mail software developed by Michael Kwasnicki.
This widget checks your email account every time Dashboard is activated — without having Apple Mail running all the time.
So far there is nothing special but, unlike other widgets, MailWidget remembers which email was received the last time Apple Mail was started.
That’s especially helpful for those who don’t delete their old mail from the mail server immediately in order to be able to read their last mail on travels.
Other widgets might say something like “there are 88 messages on the mail server” but only MailWidget will tell if there are new emails that hadn’t already been received by Apple Mail.are new emails that hadn’t already been received by Apple Mail.
