Version 3.0 has been completely rewritten from scratch to take full advantage of OS X. New to MacQibla 3.0 are sheets which give instant access to any city via popup menus in each city box.

MacQibla supports playing of MP3 files, so you can hear the call to prayer (adhan) at the correct times. Because the adhan is slightly different for the first prayer in the morning (fajr), separate files may be selected.

MacQibla uses the same Atlas database technology as Time Palette, providing the application with detailed geographical and time zone information for 10, cities throughout the world.

The Atlas maintains comprehensive rules for Daylight Saving Time (Summer Time), giving MacQibla a level of accuracy unmatched by other applications.
