Feedster Search Widget 1.1 is blogs & forums software developed by Nick Gerakines.
This widget allows you to search through the millions of blogs and feeds using the Feedster search engine.

This afternoon Carolyn seeded the idea that feedster should have a desktop widget. After some development and getting her opinion on some things, I’ve got a prototype ready and working.

When it first loads it’ll display the Feedster Blog rss feed and allows for a user to enter search terms in the search box at the top of the widget. It only displays titles for now, but that might be changed as the interface changes.

You can download the widget and give it a spin, but I’ve also taken some screen shots for the non mac users. There is a support forum for any problems or questions that you may have.

  • I’ve given it a skin thiat is much more friendly to the eyes.
  • Its color scheme and style also matches a layout that is in the skunkworks right now.
