DittoZip 1.0 is compression tools software developed by ChiperSoft Systems.
Mac OS X 10.3 Panther has a handy function on the finder's contextual menu for "archiving" a file/folder. It creates a zip file with macbinary data for storing the resource fork. It's very fast, and considerably better then stuffit archives.

Stuffit Expander supports macbinary zip files... but not the format that panther outputs.
DittoZip is an applescript droplet which creates MacBinary zip files that Expander can use by using the command line program Ditto.
This compression tools software is freeware, which means you can download and use DittoZip 1.0 absolutely free. There's no need to buy the product. DittoZip 1.0 supports english interface languages and works with Mac OS X.
