EditPad for Linux is compatible with most recent Linux distributions, including SuSE 7.x and 8.x, Mandrake 7.x, 8.x and 9.x and Red Hat 8.x and 9.x.
EditPad for Linux will only run on a computer with an x86 CPU from Intel or AMD. PowerPC (PPC) systems are not supported. EditPad for Linux also requires XFree86. Both KDE and GNOME desktops are supported.
EditPad Lite and Pro for Linux are being developed with Borland Kylix 3. Like all Kylix 3 GUI applications, EditPad Lite and Pro for Linux depends on a special version of the QT library, namely libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so. This library is included with the full downloads below.
EditPad 5.4.5 supports english interface languages and works with Linux.
